The Life of Lionel

Lionel is a 7 year old boy from Argentina. He loves playing football everyday in his neighbourhood and with his local team. However, Lionel has one problem. [[What is the problem?]] [[Solution to problem]]

Lionel has a growth hormone deficiency, this leaves him smaller than everyone else. If he wants to continue to play football he has a chice to make. [[Solution to problem]]

To Barcelona FC have offered to pay for Lionel's treatment which will help him grow. However, at the age of 13, Lionel would have to move to Barcelona. He has to make a decision. What should he choose? [[Stay in Argentina with his family]] [[Go to Barcelona]]

Wrong decison, Lionel is the star of the show he must be met. [[Meet Lionel]]

Lionel really wanted to stay in Argentina with his family and friends, however, he could not afford the medical treatment and he wanted to be a professional footballer badly. He was left with no choice. [[Go to Barcelona]]

Lionel struggled to adapt to Spanish life. He was a very quiet boy and struggled to make friends. But he continued to play in Barcelona and soon enough everyone began to see how good at football he was and life improved for Lionel. [[How did life improve]]

Lionel was soon becoming the best player on Barecelona's underage teams. He was consistently top goalscorer and he was destined for fame and glory. [[What happened next?]]

A the age of 16, he made his debut for the first team and the whole world was subjected to his talent. However, there was now another problem. [[What is the problem now?]] [[Solution?]]

Due to his size, Lionel was considerably weaker that everyone else and this was affecting his game. He was being bullied in matches and because of this he didnt get much match time. He was forced to go to the gym. [[Solution?]]

For the next few years Messi lived in the gym and literally was eating weights. Eventually he became stronger and was now seen as the complete player. [[The next few years]]

Lionel was becoming better and better every season. Many people were starting to think he was the best in the world and possibly the greatest ever. As a result of this, Barcelona saw great success. [[Success]]

Barcelona became one of the best teams in the world. Lionel was the driving force to their success. However, another problem arose for Lionel. [[Problem?]] [[Result]]

Lionel was accused of Tax evasion and was expected to be sent to prison. This negatively affected his performance. To solve this problem, Lionel had to sacrifce a lot. [[Result]]

Lionel had to pay a substantial fine to stop him from going to jail. [[After the fine]]

With the prison sentence gone, Lionel could now focus on football stress free. [[Lionel now]]

At the moment Lionel is still one of the best players in the world, 14 years after making his professional debut. He is expected to go down as the greatest player ever. [[End]]
